Certicus acknowledges that Corporate Governance is a fundamental element for long term results. Certicus’ ethos with respect to Corporate Governance is “Best practice in corporate governance is best practice for business.

To ensure business integrity, Certicus acknowledges the need that the effective management systems are in place in order to deliver value to suppliers, customers, industry organizations and colleagues. The management team set specific objectives with respect to this subject at the beginning of each year. To measure their performance, Certicus has implemented a Quality Assurance process as previously described in this proposal.

In practice Certicus has developed specific guidelines with respect to their ethos as described above. These are the following guidelines:

The great entrepreneurial drive and ambition within Certicus operate within appropriate controls and processes.

Certicus also recognizes the impact of employee engagement. The skills, knowledge and commitment of employees is noted as crucial to Certicus's continued success. This makes employee satisfaction and development key subjects for the organization. 

Management leads from the top in setting the tone as well as the direction of the Certicus’s strategy and operational management.

Implementation of the corporate governance is continuously evolving in a similar way to the implementation of Certicus’s strategy.

As areas for improvement are identified, Certicus seeks proactively to apply learning in all areas in which they are relevant.

To maintain employee engagement, Certicus fosters training and development initiatives including a Succession Planning Program for the Executive Team, and community engagement opportunities. By applying staff surveys, Certicus obtains feedback on an annual basis.

These principles are seemliness integrated into the Certicus project management approach. This approach is developed to minimize the disruption of primary customer processes. Our project approach is described in the following section.
